Details: Patio cover systems allow the use of your outdoor living area when it would normally be too hot to do so. When it starts to rain and your neighbors are sent scurrying indoors you can continue your fun and activities.
Common Usage: Providing shade in an area attached to your home, or in the case of hot-tubs, providing an overhead cover for winter use where flurries or freezing rain won’t affect the enjoyment of your relaxation time.
Our patio covers are also used in commercial applications, such as at golf courses – where being outdoors is necessary but shade is ideal. In these examples, our patio covers are used to cover the outside of wickets, or areas where customers might form a line and would prefer to not be in direct sunlight.
Construction: All aluminum structural components. Acrylic glazing, which is break-resistant for safety and peace of mind. Clear seam design – no seams in the glazing from back to front. Blocks out 80%-90% of the UV rays (UVA-UVB). Lightweight and structurally strong.
Options: Most often manufactured with aluminum bake-painted white or brown, but custom “bake-painted” colours to match your home or commercial application are available. The glazing cuts out only 6% of natural daylight.
Pros: *Custom measured to fit your building. Strong permanent construction attaches to your building for year-round use. Even in the wintertime, your patio cover prevents excess shoveling since it’s designed to support a Canadian snow load. Our glazings provide shade but still allow light to pass so they don’t darken your home the way an opaque roof or cloth covering would.
