3 Season Room

Project Notes:

The client already had a sunroom when a strong storm in Ottawa caused a tree to fall, and the tree fell through the roof. The original sunroom builder was no longer in business. The insurance company hired a restoration company that allowed the client to see various offerings from various sunroom companies, including Capital Sunrooms.

The previous sunroom had a solid roof that after installation caused the interior of the home to become dark. The couple installed a skylight in their kitchen to get allow more light to come in.

The clients chose a new sunroom with an acrylic roof. Instantly, the interior of the home became bright again and the couple were ecstatic with the new brightness of their home.

Actions:

Create a room with an acrylic roof to replace the old dark solid-roof sunroom.

Insulate the floor, install premium flooring with cork insulation.

Make the room usable all year round.

Outcome:

The clients were ecstatic with the new room. The insurance company was happy the budget was respected. The restoration company was happy with the outcome and subsequently uses Capital Sunrooms for sunroom restorations and rebuilds.
